Leafield Community Woodland is on Fairspear Road in Leafield, Oxfordshire - grid reference SP313155

Congratulations to our photographic competition winners: Thea Waters won the under 18 section and Simon Bentley was the over 18 winner. Four other competitors were highly commended.

We will meet at the Community Woodland, on the second Sunday of every month, from 11am-1pm for regular woodland maintenance. Helpers are very welcome, even for a short time.

Our next woodland workparty is on Sunday 9 November 11am - 1pm.

At our Woodland Workparty on Sunday 12 October, autumn mist gave way to bright sunshine as 13 adults and children sawed fallen ash branches and planted native bluebells, grown from seed.

There is a notebook in the woodland so visitors can record what they see. Each month we have notes of what you might see, and a record of what was seen in the previous month.
